MARINE AUDIO AMPLIFIERS
How can I wire this to get the most power out of it?
I have a JL m6600 Amplifier (http://www.crutchfield.com/S-WXz0spkfYYK/p_136M6600/JL-Audio-Marine-Series-M6600.html) It will be supporting only two Subs. A Polk Momo (http://www.crutchfield.com/p_107MM1240D/Polk-Audio-MM1240D.html?tp=111) and a Polk SR104 (http://www.crutchfield.com/p_107SR104D/Polk-Audio-SR104-DVC.html?showAll=N&tp=111)
What will be the best way to wire it to get maximum power?
There are a few different options for wiring up those subs. The option I would recommend is to wire the voice coils of each sub in parallel. Then wire one sub to channel 5 and one sub to channel 6. Each sub would be wired like in the diagram below…

Another option would be to wire the voice coil of each sub in series and then wire the subs in parallel. Then you would bridge two channels on the amp. The subs would be getting the same amount of power though, so it doesn’t matter if you do this or the first method.
There are other options that will give you a little more power. I would only recommend them for experienced installers though. One of the first two ways will be the easiest and best for you.
I recommend getting a new amp. That amp is only going to provide 100w RMS of power to each sub. You will probably be dissapointed in the overall output and performance of the subs with this amount of power.
